Live report
After releasing its first album prophetically entitled “…AND THE WILD RETURNS” in February 2020 before the Covid-19 spread across the world, the band is back in 2022 with “KALISPÉRA”, a grim, heavy and devious EP with 5 tracks falling in line with its raging and highly praised track ‘He Who Brings Destruction’.
Once again produced by Karim Attoumane (CharlElie Couture, Dormeur, The Etherist, Zuul FX …), mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios (Sepultura, Kreator, Opeth, Leprous, …), and graced by a cover artwork created by the Swedish artist Robert Hakemo, this new EP sees the band collaborating for the first time with national and global renowned metal stars: Etienne Bianchi, the vocalist of the cyber-punk and dystopian Shaârghot, the guitar virtuoso Mattias IA Eklundh (Freak Kitchen, Freak Guitar & Freak Audio Lab) and the amazing vocalist and Swedish Grammy Nominee Björn Speed Strid (Soilwork & Night Flight Orchestra) are appearing on three songs.
Goosebumps, earworms and headbanging guaranteed!

Behind the name…
The name of the band comes from the old Native American “Tale of the Two-wolves” whose origin is however still unknown and contested. This tale known across the world, features two wolves that are representing opposite emotions and attitudes and are fighting each other. One wolf is evil, anger, envy, jealousy, sadness, regret, greed, resentment, superiority, arrogance, self-pity and lies, and the other is full all positive feelings and states of mind such as joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, benevolence, empathy, generosity, compassion and truth.
This story has several epilogues that we let you find out but in the context of the band, this name reflects its desire to freely write and play different kind of songs, regardless of the music genre, whether they are bright, optimistic and joyful or melancholic, dark and brutal, whether they are straight, epic or progressive. The Wolf You Feed’s first album laid down the cornerstones and this first EP is already shaking the foundation…
